Our Lady of Mercy

The project presented by Lidia Cinelli is about the restoration of the fresco of Our Lady of Mercy, preserved in the Bigallo Museum in Florence. The fresco is allocated to Bernardo Daddi's school and it shows the oldest picture of Florence in XIV century, painted under the Lady's feets. On her cloak there are 11 tonds to represent The Mercy Activities and at her sides there are the words "visito, poto, cibo, redimo, tego, colligo, condo" which highlight the activities of the Bigallo Association in Florence.
