You can get Florence by car from several highways as A1 and A11.
Highway A1:
Coming from the North is recommended the Firenze Nord exit, take the E 76, at the end of which take on Viale Zoroastro da Peretola go straight, follow Viale degli Astronauti and Viale Alessandro Guidoni at the end of this, turn to right into via Enrico Forlanini. At the roundabout take the second exit onto Via Francesco Redi go to the end, turn right and take Viale Belfiore, get here now in the left lane to turn into via Guido Monaco, at the end of the road turn left into Via Filippo Strozzi.
Coming from the South is recommended exit Firenze Sud, take the junction, when you reach the end turn left, go Lungarno Aldo Moro, follow Lungarno Cristoforo Colombo, follow Lungarno del Tempio, at the traffic light at the end turn left into Viale Giovanni Amendola, going straight will Viale Antonio Gramsci, continue on Viale Giacomo Matteotti, at the end of which you enter in Piazza della Libertà, turn left at the traffic lights, circle the square until you turn right on Viale Lavagnini, it enter in Viale Filippo Strozzi.
Highway A11:
