Effetto Restauro

From the 18th to the 22 October 2010, at the Laboratories of the Fortezza da Basso of the Opificio delle Pietre Dure, the monumental Cross of Giotto from the Florentine Church of Ognisanti will be presented to the public after its successful restoration.


After the great success of the exhibitions of the Altarpiece of St. Zeno and the Tapestry of Vigevano the Effetto Restauro initiative will continue in the Opificio's laboratories with guided visits of works under restoration.

morning: every 45 minutes from 9.30 to 12.30.
afternoon: every 45 minutes from 14.15 to 17.15.


The visits for groups of 20 people have been organised in collaboration with the Association of the Friends of the Opificio. Minimum contribution Euro 10,00 per person.
