Exhibitions: Setting up of a historical garden in a contemporary botanic vision - The Green
Eurogiardinaggio Nicola Maisto S.r.l. and Mariella Zoppi
From 8 to 10 November 2012
An ordered hedge winds above the eyes, and with an undulating aspect surrounding the courtyard at the entrance to the Florence Art and Restoration, Fair, to introduce in a physically and conceptually way the theme of the garden, its history and its preservation.
The green line includes contemporary sculptures and abstract shapes carved in the green. It is the revival of the deepest sense of the garden: an enclosure where art and nature being composed provide an environment for the staying, for walking, for crossing aware of who intends to achieve other goals.
The result is a welcoming and discreet space that filters the massive walls of the Fortezza da Basso and introduces you to the many activities that take place within the Cavaniglia pavillion where the old mixes with the new, in the revival of the universal idea of art, which through the ages with various shapes and materials, marks time, changes and transforms itself, but remains as a testimony of the sense of beauty that belongs to the eternal and therefore should be preserved and handed down.
