Between Myth and Science: new perspectives of research

When art, myth and symbol join Science can be created a new product in the field of contemporary art. The Manifesto proposed by the artist Luisa Del Campana aims to create a revival of all that contents which are on the basis of the idea of the myth that are deeply connected to our ontological values through a 'survey, starting from the theoretical and experimental bases of the "Neuroaesthetics", will use the artwork for recording data of neural responses, obtained also with the help of magnetic resonance imaging. This is because today, as is well known and confirmed by the lively international debate, every field of human actions, needs a scientific evidence.
The novelty of the Manifesto lies in a new horizon of aesthetic obtained through the encounter between Art and Science, in collaboration with the Tuscan artist Prof. Fabio Babiloni, physiologist and professor of the Faculty of Medicine of the University La Sapienza University in Rome, and Prof. Gianfranco Marchesi of Parma, primary in neurology and psychiatry, expert Neuroaesthetics.
They will participate with the artist at the Talking Corner, scheduled for next 10th November at the Florence Fair.
