Magister Faber and Innovative Artifacts

Luxury Tuscany is a project which has the main aim to give dignity to the old fashioned expression 'Magister Faber ®' (maestri del fare) which is referred to all those men who work at the highest level in terms of manufacturing quality and aesthetic and functional innovation.
Museums in every corner of the world have many of their artworks which are a precious mix of artisan skills and creativity and which are very well represented in Tuscany. We have selected almost thirty groups operating in various sectors as leather, goldsmith’s art and glass products. They received 100 product/ideas created by the well known architect Tommaso Agujari, named the Archigiano, and by his students of the Magisterial Course in Design of the University of Florence, chaired by the architect Massimo Ruffilli. The prototypes registered under the brand Manufatti Innovativi, MA.IN ®,are unique creations, perfect and functional artefacts.
Honoré de Balzac said: True elegance cannot be bought at the wholesale stores. Starting from this words we can truly affirms that our art products will open a new horizon in the Tuscany manufacturing history. Luxury Tuscany ® and Eurogift created also a Committee for asking Unesco to be included as ' Immaterial Heritage' in its list of sites.
