ContemporaneAcademy
Training Area – Friday November 12- from 1:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Presentation by Training activities
We work since more than twenty years in the field of the organization of art exhibitions. We think that exhibitions are a very important instrument for promoting and evaluating art collections, museums, cities and in general cultural heritage artworks.
All the benefits connected to this type of exhibitions are clear for the lender institutions but also for the city and for all the surrounding territory, in terms of media visibility, international promotion, rediscovery of forgotten and hidden artworks, scientific research, restoration process and handbooks publications. A series of tangible signs which permeates time and leaves an important memory of a temporary but unforgettable experience.
Exhibitions are not an art merchandising instrument; they represent a great opportunity for institutions and museums to promote themselves and increase their role. The benefits of a scientifically serious exhibition are relevant, in terms of restoration, promotion and exchange of knowledge.
Public funds are scarce and culture, as many other sectors, suffers from the economic crises. A museum could so increase, respecting its mission, its economic resources by means of artworks loans.
High quality exhibitions support cultural heritage promotion and preservation and help cultural institutions in the process of dissemination of art and culture to new people of different countries ethnic origin and education.
