The recovery of the original colours of the polychrome wooden sculpture, representing Christ on the cross and of the fresco behind the sculpture, which were completely covered by over paints. The meeting presents a description of the main characteristics of the restoration process and of the preliminary diagnostic analyses which allow restorer to discover a wonderful scenic mechanism which was hidden inside the head of the sculpture.
