The conference presents the recent archaeological discoveries made in Pyrgos (Cyprus) and Cirene (Libia) during the Italian missions directed by the CNR and co-financed by the Italian Foreign Ministry, Ufficio V. It will be also showed: the various opportunities to be involved in a restoration and excavation practical internship in these two areas; the labs activities; the territorial recognition and the GIS system; the basic excavation activities; the recognizing process of the different materials ceramic, stone, metal and organic; the Archeobotanic; the Paleopalinology; the textile fibers; the experimental Archaeology; the Restoration of ceramic artefacts.
