The General Secretary: Prof. Lia Piccolella This year, during the annual meeting of the 'Lo Stato dell’Arte 8', was launched a call for the best art dissertation.
The Fondazione Paola Droghetti was established on 19th March 1998 by Vincenzo Ruggieri and his daughters Alessia, Marzia and Clarissa in memory of their loved mother and wife Paola Droghetti Ruggieri, restorer and conservator.
The Foundation activities partners are above all public institutions as the Italian Ministry of Cultural Heritage, the Istituto Centrale per il Restauro with whom the Foundation has an agreement for one or more annual scholarships reserved to Institute students. In the same time the Foundation each year chooses some important restoration works to be financed.
In the last recent years a new agreement was undersigned with the city of Rome to finance some restoration process coming from the Italian capital. At the end of any intervention of restoration, the Foundation promote and organize an exhibition and a publication of the works and of the researches carried out during the restoration process. Foundation Activities:
1- Financing of Interventions of Conservation.
2- Financing of Scholarships.
3- Publishing activities.
4- Organization of exhibitions.
